A launch party held at Old Billingsgate to showcase the new IKEA furniture range following a televised press event. Key pieces of the new range arrived in a large lorry with motorcycle escort. The full range was presented in a spot-lit gallery. 1,000 guests ate Scandinavian meatballs, oysters and blinis from food bars with an additional party area revealed halfway which included a dancefloor, live band and DJ.
