Wednesday 30th June: The Elephant Parade Event, London
The Elephant Parade and Grand Elephant Auction takes place in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. London's biggest outdoor art event, the Elephant Parade is a conservation campaign by The Elephant Family charity to spotlight on the urgent crisis faced by the endangered Asian elephant. It will showcase 250 brightly painted life-size elephants, each decorated by a different artist or celebrity before they are auctioned to the VIP guestlist. Guests of this event will enjoy the finest culinary delights and thrilling entertainment at an evening hosted by Goldie Hawn, Sarah, Duchess of York, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild & Mark Shand.
